Given the way metaverse and NFTs are spreading, what is your outlook about .art names?
I see 1 word .art domain names selling for mid XXXX but the best is yet to come.

What about 2-word .art names? Should we be bullish and take some early advantage on the same?
Btw they are just $3 per domain name.

Going by namebio? Most are the same sales date, 9/26, which seems odd to me.

yes Namebio. But what is, in general, your feeling about .art extension?

As an Investor, it's kinda short , 3char tld, but limited market. Big nft hype so a single and related keyword would make an educated gamble at $3 a pop. Depends on renewals for a longer hold.

Personally, not a fan.

.art hasn't picked up as anticipated. I don't see many studios, galleries, museums and institutions having come on board. The TLD itself didn't get much enthusiasm from individual artists as they are contended with their deviant art and artstation portfolio pages, as these sites provide better visibility and networking for freelance artists.

Also the registry has been marking keyword domains as premium since the landrush period with high registration fees which doesn't make it easy to acquire/invest in premium. Even the renewal charges for premium names are higher compared to regular ones.

The TLD launch itself lacked enough marketing as not many registrars (not even Godaddy) were offering registrations during its landrush. Though I was able to steal a premium name through OVH which was one of the few registrars accepting landrush registrations at that time.

But the question is, can this pick up now?
When .art launched, there may not have been the concept of metaverse or not popular maybe. Now that we are in those times, chances are, this may pick up.
Fingers crossed.
