I joined SquadHelp.com about a week ago or so.There are a lot of features I like on there. The ability to write a description about your domain, categorize it, tag it and even choose from a selection of images which relate to the category in which your domain is in or upload your own image. I've filled out my profile and submitted all of the information I needed to complete my profile to 100%. So far, I've submitted about 24 domains. I did pay $1 for each domain to be submitted for review to be listed on their Premium Market. I also added the marketing exposure feature to each domain name at the price of a 20% (min $300) SH commission when and if any of my domains sell.
Aaannd, so far, SquadHelp has been one by one rejecting every single one of my submissions for premium listing, leaving me in the standard market with the option to enable marketing exposure on my DNs only. I still have a few DNs pending review for premium, so there's a chance one could still be accepted, but it seems not likely that any of them will be accepted at this point, as I've come to learn that their marketplace, according to them is "very curated" and that they only accept about "8-10% of the submissions." Lol
I find this quite interesting. It's interesting because a lot of the names that SquadHelp accept to be featured on their market would most likely be considered as valueless domain names here. I mean I'm not saying they ARE valueless. Idk, but the value and pricing of Domains seems to almost be subjective on SH more than anything. I don't know. Like, it's almost as if no research at all goes into keyword research, CPC, exact search or anything for a lot of the domains. It seems more like, "here's a domain idea I came up with, I think it's a great brandable domain name, and I think it's worth $5000 or $10000. Buy it." lol
I'm just saying, that from what I've learned from some of the guys here on NamePros so far regarding stuff like Exact Search, CPC or studying Comparable Domain sales etc, based on these things, a lot of the domains SquadHelp has accepted to be featured on their market, would be considered valueless in the eyes of some of the people here on this forum. Some of the domains that are being featured or that have sold recently would probably not have been expected by anyone to have sold for as high as some of these domains have or have not but are intending to be. lol
Like for example, some of their featured domains that haven't sold yet are: "PoppyWorkwear.com," "GorgeousTail.com," "WellShores.com," "BrandSpankingYou.com."
Recently Sold Names on SquadHelp.com:
Mintfi.com sold for $4,299,
InvestiCore.com sold for $2799
Travend.com sold for $1599
Wellavo.com sold for $1599
There are many more with no exact search volume, no CPC or anything.
Why am I writing about SquadHelp here now? Well, I guess I just wanted to express my observations regarding this new (to me) website so far and my experience. And I just simply found it interesting that none of my domains so far have been accepted despite having followed all of the submition best practices guidelines etc. I thought maybe it might have had to do with some of domains not being 60 or more days old, but even the ones that I've had for a year or longer were rejected.
Anyways. I'll stick with this SquadHelp website for about a year and see where I am at.
Have any of you had any good or bad experiences with SquadHelp? I'm curious to know!
