Once again I find myself on the Mods Bitch-list. doesn't happen often, probably about once a year.
What ever I thought fair comment about this Guarantee has now gone
Coconutoo.com Is a Brandable Domain *Guarantee Profit 30%
.ModsThey are such a funny bunch - I complained about his Guarantee , so they removed all my posts and left his OP up there - Get a life Guys.
I'm now looking forward to being restricted by at least 30 per cent for calling out just about anyone - Time to leave these playmates alone methinks - I'm out of here.
Yep really - I've got better things to do
Hello,
We just finished reviewing this matter and found that
@Mod Team Alfa cleaned up all your comments from an active sales listing. Please keep the following rule in mind:
6.1.1. No commentary or statements in
sales listings except by the listing’s creator (
rule 6.1.10 applies). Furthermore:
- No Sales Crashing: Do not post anything in a sales listing that could devalue an item or hinder a sale from taking place successfully unless it is a constructive and relevant question.
- An exception to this rule is when the listing's creator invites discussion, commentary, or feedback at any time in the Promotional or External Sales sections.
The above rule is why that moderator team removed your comments.
If you come across a post/listing that you feel violates a rule, please use the report feature, rather than commenting in the sales listing, so a moderator can investigate and get more involved.
We can see that the member made a Google search claim that was not accurate and it was removed, as to not misinform any potential buyers.
However, there is technically not a rule against providing a 30% profit guarantee.
The only way for a moderator to know if the buyer did or did not make a 30% profit is if the buyer reports (after the purchase) that they made less than the guarantee, at which time, a moderator can get more involved, since the seller, at that point, failed to deliver on their guarantee in a binding sales agreement.
Note: We can also see where the seller stated: *Additional with Guarantee Buyback agreement from your price increases 30% per 3 years
It appears that they will buy back the domain if it did not produce a 30% profit within 3 years.
Once again though, technically, there is not a rule violation in offering a guaranteed buy back and the only way a moderator would know if the seller did not buy the domain back or if the 30% profit was not made, is if the buyer reports the matter.
We can certainly agree that such a sales listings with guarantees can send up some red flags and create doubt. If at any time you see a sales listing you are not comfortable making an offer on or buying, pass it up. If you feel it violates a rule, report it, so a moderator team can investigate further.
Unfortunately, since no rule violation took place,
@Mod Team Alfa was unable to close the listing or issue an infraction to the member.
