Here is a very abnormal scenario, which happened more than once.
It is very difficult to get a 4 figure offer, or get any response to any email.
Here is what happens (happened several times): I register a domain, send a very logical email to a very targetted potential buyer: their response: total silence (no response). Ok it is their choice, they are not interested.. is this right ? no. Maybe they went to their "trusted company " Godaddy or somewhere else, but we were not informed about potential buyers' intentions. There is a black box there.
And during pending delete I get mid3-low 4 figure initial offer, what can I do, wait until domain drops, since the offer may be fake as happens 50 percent of time at least, there is no reason to bid on it at auctions where I would be scammed out of nothing... Normally domain should drop , and there should be not much competition, or the marketplace which sent me enduser's offer should try to catch for themselves. But what happens in reality, it is dropcaught, and the new owner is Hugedomains.
So how did Hugedomains know there is a a real buyer? Maybe they are bribing someone from Sedo, and AN/GD, or both, to get offer data.
I bet some offers are not shown to us, and instead they go to dropcatch list, and for teasing purposes we get offers during pending delete.
