when you speak of what is relevant, in an environment,
then you have to consider all that is relevant to each participant.
when you speak of professionalism and being professional,
then are you being professional,
when or if you make decisions that effect members based on "expectations"
and those expectations which are not rules, but according to post, should be given same weight as rules...
however, if that is true then they should be called rules, and not expectations.
check this:
I expect to earn $0.85 a click, but the name didn't meet that
do I delete it, because it didn't meet expectations?
or do I leave it alone, hoping it will do better in future?
or
you might expect your kid to be a doctor, cuz you was surgeon
but they decided to be a cook and didn't meet your expectations
do you disown your child?
or do you go eat at his restaurant?
there is clarity in a rule, and there must be flexibility with any expectation.
I suggest you guys review your expectations list, along with the list of adjectives and the one sentence applications, you put next to each
there are too many scenarios, where any of them can be used as a weapon against another member, just because they aren't mature enough to handle criticism
