The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Anyone ? I'm also asking about domains with pr 3 and 4..

Didn't Google stop publishing Page Rank years ago, unless I am missing something new.

How can you still find domain pagerank ?! Are there any tools available? Thanks

Maybe he just means that for a certain keyword or phrase it appears on page 5 of whatever comes up. Which isn’t that great for a developed website but for a parked domain would be impressive if that’s what he means.

PR is dead and has been for years.

What i mean is, i saw a few domains ( only with landing page and without websites) with pageranks 3 to 5, that are for sale.
And that is why i am asking..
Any ideas how those can be used/monetized ?

Page Rank means nothing now. It can no longer be viewed by the public...so if anyone says they know their page rank, they are making it up or relying on out of date data.

A metric used now is DA (Domain Authority) and the highest value is 100.

I have websites and forums where if a certain keyword or phrase is typed in, I appear on page 1 of whatever comes up under the Google or Bing search engine. Getting on page 1 for SEO is not dead never has been dead.

As far as whether you want to call it "page rank" or something else, that's up to you.

As far as whether it is dead, no it is not,
https://cognitiveseo.com/blog/19033/google-pagerank/
but we just can't find it publicly visible anymore.
As of 2018: "Yes, PageRank is still used in our algorithms, among a number of other signals,” a Google Spokesperson confirmed.

This ^^^

There were always 2 PageRank values: the complex internal one Google still uses, and the simple external one displayed in the toolbar "toy" they gave the public.

Just be aware that DA is a proprietary value calculated by a SAAS vendor (Moz) and is just their estimate - it has no actual input from Google, and Google could in some cases draw a very different conclusion. But its useful for comparisons.

  • The sidebar remains visible by scrolling at a speed relative to the page’s height.
