Show attachment 114487 Yea, am a newbie in the domain industry and trying my best to learn as fast as possible. Since last year, I have tried to register some domains of which I was successful in some while some were snapped from me.

My challenge now is that haven place them for sale on free listing markets, I haven't recorded any sale. In addition, I submitted my names to brandpa but non was accepted. This made me to conclude that these names are not too good. Below is the screenshots of my domains. Pls can you guys help me out on the way forward. Thank you in anticipation.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
These names dont seem to have much meaning, rather they are random word pairings or just nonsense possible brandables. As brandables I dont see something I would want to base a business on.

Cargoscope might be good to hold onto, but it sounds like something with shipping logistics.

ps- next time put a little effort and post the TEXT of your names, not a lazy screen grab. Why should we have to manually type your names if you can't be bothered to do it yourself ?

Hold off from registration and do a lot of learning first.

Yeah... start by looking at what others are selling. That will give you idea of what works in the market. Be regular at this forum, check auctions at namejet and sedo. That will give you idea of what people are bidding on

I don't have much expertise in brandables, but make sure you learn from both articles (such as those at DNGeek). You can sign up for a free email newsletter that shows some coming up, and even if you don't bid on any for awhile (my recommendation) just seeing what a successful domainer thinks is worthwhile is helpful. The other way to learn is by looking through approved names at the sites. It is a tricky area though as trends change fast. Like it seems more two word names are selling from the latest information.

Assuming it to too late to grace delete the names you have, I would do a complete analysis for each, and decide which are worth your time to try to sell. It is critical to take a careful and accurate look at potential end sellers.

Best wishes.

These 3 are the only ones that make any sense to me:

Aqqus - weak, 5L invented brandable. In the future, try to avoid repeating letters and endings with "u" in them. This said, if no interest, you can probably recoup all or at least part of your regfee, offering it at auction here at NP a few months before expiry date... some people can't help but buy any 5L that comes along for a few $ :xf.wink:

Incidentally, Aqqos is marginally better, available for regfee, but 5L or not, I still wouldn't bother to throw good money at it!

Cargoscope - good brandable! I haven't bothered to check, but I'd be surprised if there weren't any companies already using this name somewhere in the world...

Roughtop - average brandable, by which I mean: makes no sense, but has a nice ring to it.

All others not worth their reg fee, IMHO.

What am I not doing the right way?

Supporting the wrong football team, that's one.

The guys pretty much covered all the points and we can all agree the cargo name stands out.

Keep cargoscope. Drop the rest.

Edit: Also it can take time to sell even top domains. Patience is for sure a virtue in the domain game.

they all don't look great to me

From the list, "rough top" IMO was somewhat of an identifiable name, a term sometimes used in parcel or product shipping or transporting regarding conveyer belts.

That said I am uncertain how a business would or could use the name or value it's acquisition.

I might add that I agree with others that CargoScope is a nice name. It would be a nice fit for a reference site finding shipping options, a cargo tracking service, a sharing service where peer to peer cargo while people travel, etc.

I also like RoughTop but can't think of realistic end users - if you can it is worth pursuing.

Artively is a cute contraction of art and lively. I don't think it would command a high price but it feels light and fresh and priced right might find a buyer for a performance art studio, art activities as healing, etc.

Best of luck with them.

All bad, why many people say cargoscope is good, copying each other?

Weedite sounds like a lawn care product.

Don't reg if you don't see the potential buyers.
Rule #1.
