API call rates depend on registrar API entirely, not on software.

I am working in a python script for myself, I gave up to find a software, all them so expensive and they just do things that with some lines I can do, I'm not programmer but I think I will get something. Unfortunately I have to use Godaddy API because namecheap didn't replied about my api request and dynadot, well, I gave up, their API not work.

Dynadot API works perfectly, the only thing that you have to take care is the time between requests and wait to the previous request to respond because it can end in a 10 min ban.

I use this library writed on python to do my script. Dynadotpy

I think you get 1 request per second with dynadot. Do you manage to catch anything at all?

I try to catch several 5N.com and the Dynadot API only respond with "All connections are busy".

After that I re-develop my program not to compete vs big dropcatchers because it is semi-impossible to compete vs dropcatch services that are domain registrars like DropCatch.

I re-develop it for domains that are not really competed, domains that I want but I wont pay the full price of the dropcatch service.

If the Dynadot API wouldnt have that rate limit I am sure that some competed domain could be mine because I test the average resquest/response time of my script and Its was 25ms.

In addition I read in some site that the Dynadot API has a priority list for people that spend more money in Dynadot services. If I spent 100$ and other user spent 1000$, the request of that user has more priority than mine.

Yep, I know as much. However, it seems like dropcatching can only get you names which won't be backordered in the first place. If I used multiple registrars' APIs, then maybe there's a chance I could get SOMETHING. The outlook seems grim tho.

you could have much more, but it depends of the number of domains in your dynadot account.

ResellerClub doesn't use a priority system like DynaDot does.
