Bought a new .io domain through sedo last week a NN.io , bit of an investment and gamble but worth a shot in my opinion.

Anyone investing in .io domains? please feel free to share your investments.

Cheers

I was wondering if experienced .io investors can share if 3-letter .io domains (random letter combos) and pronounceable 4-letter .io domains such as CVCV - for example, Fero.io - are a good investment in today's market? I am looking to add some .io domains to my portfolio but I'm cautious holding too many because of their high renewal fees.

Doron, If you're looking to add some .io domains to your portfolio I'd stick with short, one-word, singular domains. You do see some 4-figure sales of random 3L and 4L combos but I don't think that's a game you really want to play, with the renewal fees being at least 3x higher than .com.

Those were my thoughts. Thanks Josh. Appreciate it.

Where is the best place to sell a .io domain? Has anyone here ever used Park.io to sell their domains? If so, what was the experience like? Did it take an age to sell if they were good keywords?

This would only give you a landing page and offer field which is handled by the admin of the website which "CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED IF CHANGED YOUR DNS AND ONLY IF SOMEONE VISITS THE DIRECT LINK URL" as there is no parked domains marketplace page to make offers.

You would want your domain added to as many aftermarket websites as possible; sedo, afternic, flippa, dns, etc. Along with BIN price so anyone can grab it first come first serve.

I am setting up dneth.com - a domain aftermarket where users can buy and sell their domains for fiat or crypto. I will be featuring a lot of the .io domains considering I own a lot of premiums myself; you would want your domain added where everyone is included as a whole.

Try to buy a 6 letter dictionary word related to commodity, service, product, business term that's technical in nature if at all possible. You may have to raise your budget though.

I've never bought a io but I'm now interested in them. Can medical domains work? Like a popular field of medicine? Also, are four character word .ios popular?

I own SSLCertificate.io and ChildSupport.io (both for sale)

I had/have plans to develop them, but at the moment don't have the time. Shame....they have a lot of potential.

Sedo reported that esports.io was sold for $40k, 3rd biggest public .io sale.
I recall the domain being offered at this forum.
