Hello,
I develop country websites in French (mostly "nameofthecountry.fr", and was thinking of doing the same for a few in English. I've purchased a while ago domain names under the form : online"nameofthecountry.com", such as onlinelithuania.com.
I'm looking at the regged domains and see that very few versions are developped and even registered. Is it because it does not sound well in English?

I think the other order is more natural. Country+Online.com.

yes makes much sense (in English) Country+online
though to be honest I personally think the word 'online' is bit redundant these days for something so all-encompassing as a Country name..

interesting, thanks
In French, online is adding some brandable touch to a domain name.
We have the equivalent "enligne" which is used a lot, but it starts to be a little outdated. Online is more modern. If you check any of the 100 best words in French + online (with and without hyphen), it will be already registered, in fr, com and generally also in at least another extension.

Supposing that I'm too lazy too starting finding new domain names, is bulgaria-online.com much better than online-bulgaria.com or it does not make much difference?
