Not all domains. I think one domain is picked daily out of all published names for the day and its management decision on which to pick. I currently have 18 names published with another 6 pending. Only one made it to featured category, intelivas.com

How about taking some logic lessons?

estibot valuation $0 =/= brandable

Brandable can be = to $0 or > on estibot

Estibot will value worthless misspells in thousands, because its algorithm assumes that certain % of the value of the original word(s) will pass through. And Estibot will value at zero a nice brandable, because it simply cannot recognize those.

Any more ideas?

If you check the site everyday you will see the featured domains changes frequently. For example one of mine is featured today.

Let get one thing straight about domain names. It doesn't matter what the name is, its how you tag your website. You build up the domain name, the name does not. I would not worry about that my friend. All the best.

The websites that put a value on your domain name.
They do not factor in the phycology of the consumer.
They look at technicals.
Don’t trust the prices these online evaluators spit out.

I think you missed the whole point of the thread

"Featured domains" are domains that Brandpa's staff have rated most likely to have high and broad appeal. We grade all our domains internally as part of the appraisal process; the ones with the highest scores (approximately the top 20%) are cycled at random on the homepage.

We've experimented with the homepage a great deal over time, and our data suggests that showing new visitors some of our best names makes it more likely that those visitors will explore more domains. It's like a magazine cover: you show your most appealing headlines first, to get customers to read the rest.
