The term Yields related to many industries and most notable is the financial industry.

This domain will go into development as a crowdfunding site, but I like to explore the possibility of selling it.

I would like to get an appraisal of this domain? Please

Thank you all

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The .org sold for $1800, i think you’re looking at a good 5k to a reseller, possibly 25k+ to an end user if he really wants it. Thats just my opinion though, I wanna say more given its Money related aswell but you may want a more experienced opinion.

Patience in king is at $40,000 on sedo so I believe this will be worth alot

Good name, very applicable to the finance niche. I would say that it's worth on the low end retail $25k-$50k range and on the high end retail $75k-$150k end user, a reseller would probably pay $4k-$8k. What you end up selling for totally depends on your individual end game for this domain. The singular, Yield.com is a $250k+ name, but this domain would do really well for a company that makes investment management software. In terms of future trends AI assisted wealth management also comes to mind when I think of a name like this. Additionally, farm technology is another niche that works well with the name----->Crop yields are a very important aspect of farm productivity analysis and imagine having a crop yield forecaster called "Yields"....no farmer would ever forget that.

Taken in 20+tlds as well. HODL.....prices for one word .com's are going up....

Good luck!

This is a great name and it will depend on finding the right user with the right pockets are I call. In re-seller market in might get to 8-12 K . The right end user would probably pay as much as you ask , possibly a lot. Did you get any offers?

I have seen it kicked around on Flippa for years, unsold.

If anyone knows the real value it is you, as you already have the Flippa data, and offers going back years.

This is taken from domain shanes blog:

  • Yields.com – $6,600 – Relisted. This thing has been shopped around for ages, and the seller flatly refuses to give any indication of the reserve price…..with that approach, he might continue to pay listing fees for the rest of his life.

It's all easy, have you sold foxo.com yet lol

Yields is a great name, great brand, just needs a good home. Many domainers have learned the development game is not so friendly.

The stock market has been on fire, the crypto markets have been on fire, This name should have sold into this bull run. I would say the flaw is not with the name, but maybe with the seller.

Why not pay $249 for the premium listing? Does the name not qualify because its a plural?

My immediate thoughts were $1500 is a certainty till notified by Cryptoinvestor of the $1800 for the dot org which lifts value leaving me to agree with Cryptoinvestor if i am to speculate. I would certainly use the dot org sale for leverage but not mention unless required when negotiating a rise on their offer. The plural isn't to damaging and is brand able.

You are talking to resellers here, who are drooling to get their hands on this domain name.

You've probably had this domain on multiple platforms, displaying to end users who had a different need or niche in mind.

This name will go for $2,500,000+ if you strategically develop it(Simple website, showcasing the potential use) and target the right people.

There are many Hedgefund, IB, PE decision makers on LinkedIn that are just waiting for a premium account to send them an inmail.

What kind of offers have you received and where from? That will help a bit but, I think you have your answer however.

You should develop this already, or sell it. I’m sure tons of us here would love to develop it but, no end users here.

Apparently if I am reading correctly he turned down $200k.
So did I miss anything?

I would have ventured into the high $XXXXX

Anything is possible...

but to get $1 billion dollars for a domain like this - he would need to build a business, create hype and generate revenue.

HighYields HighYieldInvestment/s are both worth more IMO.

If I were the owner, I wouldn't fall in love with the name. Thinking that you can always get a better offer will make sure you never sell this name
HighYields HighYieldInvestment/s are both worth more IMO.

You're probably the only one that thinks that....

If you were offered 200K for this, take the money and run for the hills.... Is Yield.com worth 200K? .. Yes.

Yields.com ... not even close..

Side note:
The following is a good way to find out whether the plural or singular is better...
Simply type the word into Google...

If you type "Yields"... the word "Yield" is displayed everywhere....

If you type "Chair", you'll see a lot more of the plural word.... Hence Chairs.com is better than Chair.com.
