I have recently acquired some one-word .info names:

S o b e r (.) info
C r i m e s (.) info
B u d d i e s (.) info
S i m u l a t i o n s (.) info

I would love to hear some thoughts regarding them.

Thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.info is not doing well for the past few years.
It is almost dead.
I would suggest to approach the .COM and other extension owner of these names and pitch it to them as a branding addition to their portfolio. That way, it works better.

You may expect low xxx if they agree to take these. If they pay better, well and good.

Although I own .infos , they are not doing well as stated above but I think it is the best alternative to .com , but yours are not really good except crimes.info whicj can be actually better than the .com if a site is built ,about famous crimes

I personally like this one. Drug addiction and drug rehabilitation are HUGE in the U.S.
Someone could use it to draw traffic to website if developed right. Cause most of the rehabs now have a hard time grabbing national serp results. And the big money is from out of state clients who have good insurance. just a thought. $XX-$XXX

I will hold all for few years ,,, Instead of selling these domains at reseller price I will prefer to make them as bundle and sell on flippa for mid xxx

I have a good .info portfolio - I like them but not everyone does. That will be your problem getting a good value.

low $xxx UNLESS the right buyer can be found. There have been some decent .info sales in the past

basically the way .info works now is ,pick up good one words for a buck at registration sales ,and don't renew them for 12 bucks because they are too expensive and not worth renewing ,I guess an end user would be a good candidate to reregister the domain ,but when there done with it they let it expire and the .99 cent sale repeats itself, things have changed nowadays two word .com domains have more intrinsic value than 1 word .infos

That's something I had in mind as well. For example: S/o/b/e/r/I/n/f/o/.com is developed so so/ber/.info might be a good addition to their site. Will pitch it to them surely first.

I was keeping development in mind when getting the names. The name you have mentioned is one I would love to develop actually, and hopefully, I will have some free time to do so.

It's my favourite one probably of the bunch as well. Might contact some rehabs and pitch it for a few hundred bucks and see if I get some results with it.

I was thinking about listing a couple of them on Flippa as a bundle, but with this horrific interface update of Flippa, the already low auction activity will get worse as I have noticed.

Yeah, like one-word .info-s have quite a good sale history on Flippa as I have noticed. Might list it there after they revert to the old design.

I do agree, Ben, that's the cycle of nearly all .info names. I have been picking up quite a few two-word .coms recently as well. But you know, as .info-s are so damn cheap as you have mentioned, when I see a good one I pick it up and the "worst" case scenario is that I develop it :)

Sadly .info's are a hard sell right now. I had/have a landrush singular .info that originally sold in the 3k range awhile back that I got at auction for half that. And instead of selling when Flippa was doing well with .info names, I held too long and sold at a loss for tax purposes and will buy back as is my arrangement (though I did get a 1k offer after I sold) That being said, of the group, sober.info is your best especially with the opioid crisis. You'll need to try sell direct to end user and you won't likely get more from a reseller unless you develop or .infos take off again. Plural .infos are an even harder sell especially when you multiply reg fees over time. Though simulations.com stands out as a VR name. I would not recommend Flippa in its current incarnation. Good luck!
