Hey Guys.
I want to buy one domain but it is privacy protect of Uniregistry.
Domain is Parking Page. Previously it was at SEDO but removed now.
How can I contact domain owner if whois don't show domain owner details?

Another question:
If I get TM of any name but domain registered before I get TM,
Is it possible to challenge domain owner through UDRP as I have registered TM of that name.

Thanks in Advance.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If they have Privacy Protection activated it means usually they do not wish to be contacted.

If you have TM registered at some jurisdiction, you might try to legally get information about owner from current registrar using your attorney in case you decide to fill UDRP. Most registrars will quickly cooperate.

Careful though - having trademark does not automatically mean you have rights for specific domain name. Some other parties can have another TMs registered in different jurisdiction.

In addition, if you fill UDRP, another party can use attorney too, and in case they succeed in their defence, you might find yourself in position of beying guilty of Reverse Hijacking. Other party can also fill separate lawsuit for damages too. In case one does not make very detailed analysis with good TM attorney before filling UDRP, that can become very bad and costly adventure, depending on how financially strong is the other party and whether they think their rights are beying abused. In this case, only happy people will be attorneys representing both sides..fees, fees and fees :)

Thanks @lolwarrior

First, domain was for sell at SEDO so there are more chances that guy want to sell.
Another thing I haven't registered TM yet. I will only registered if there are 90% chances to get that domain.
Domain was for sell at sedo for $500. It has Brandable typo of one mid size company. I don't think domain owner give any attorney. I want to buy that domain just cuz I am Vendor of that mid size company and this domain has around 2500 monthly visits so May Be I get some sell by this Typosquatting.

It is strange that it was at Sedo and not anymore - maybe previous owner already sold to someone else? Who knows..I would follow the domain via who is, to see if privacy protection is removed any time soon.

One other idea - try to consult with Godaddy brokerage services whether they can get domain for you - it will cost around 70 usd by default, plus success fee (15-20 % - I do not remember exactly). But first confirm with them whether they can do it for you when privacy is on, just to be sure :)

Some snakes don't like being woken up lol

Anyone can file a udrp

But if you file a udrp against someone with very deep pockets it could get interesting

The OP wants to try to attempt reverse-hijacking a domain name using the UDRP with a junior trademark, for the purpose of typosquatting against another TM owner.

Did I miss the announcement for Namepros' Most Insane Plan contest?

Go for it. I want to see you win the UDRP and see them BOTH sue you.

Much better stated than my planned "OP, go drown yourself in a bucket of A.I.D.S." response. +1 rep

The domain already exists and allegedly as yet the tm does not so existing domain owner would win all day long

Well, throw in bribing the panelist and make it a trifecta.
