I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

Here are some acronyms we like to use:

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

Featured Friends
Johname - he doesn't have a cool nickname except johname. He is a legend. He is our local animation expect.
DU/Grace Delete aka __ aka Rickey (due to propensity to retire).
Iowa - Your source of gas prices, bacon futures, and stuff.
JBLions - Will teach you about mattress purchasing, beer, and how to remove birds from cages
Briguy Debartolo - More NP$ than everyone
Mis_Chiff - Fellow Canadian of Bri - she's a wild one
Lennco - He is lennco
Enlytend - I still read this enly--tend Adwords guru!
Verbster - The Alaskan Fisherman who hunts Right Wingers and Shoots Sh*t in more than one place
BaseballWorld - Muscle #2 (after JB)
David Walker - Semper Fi
Forge - Don't ask about this avatar
GILSAN - He posts photos. Cool ones. He also worships CR7 (if you don' t know who that is? you are advised to learn before engaging him in conversation)
JDAB - He has hot women on his new bed... but he worked hard for them
Rogue - Called Rouge more often than the movie Moulin Rouge
Cyberian - He goes by Cy. He's older than the forum. Likes the lakers and pops in sometimes to offer support and counselling.
NS - He doesn't look like the cartoons. He's an enigma. His avatar is usually hot.

SPECIAL SPECIAL GUESTS
Blobfish and girlfriend.

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

POLITICS OF ANY KIND IS A NO NO.

I suppose Anarchy is ok

I AM PERSONALLY UNDECIDED ON SOME POLITICS so things like the below?
I think the crowd should decide.

Just won IcelandTourism.com, only 2nd domain I got this year. Being more picky this year.

Now, FranceTourism.com sold for almost $13,000 last Summer and checking Google Keyword Tool exact match global

france tourism - 5,400
iceland tourism - 14,800

why? I was expecting france tourism to dwarf iceland's numbers. Is it some obvious reason I'm just missing.

Getting a workout in before the game. Pinky healed, so I can bend hand.
I would believe that those looking to travel in France search for the specific city+tourism i.e. paristourism or nicetourism. Most people probably cannot name a single city in Iceland and therefore search icelandtourism. Nice pick up for sure.

Just got back from day 1 of house watch. Just under 15 minutes each way, so about an hour of driving a day. Before that, had to check on one of my mom's rentals while she is away. What a pain in the ass renters can be, why I never want to get into that kind of real estate, even tho it's good money. Not paying on time, life happens. Or damage to house. This one had door damage, handle to fridge door missing, blinds down, etc. But new renters are 3 college girls, 1 just graduate actually. They were painting the place red when I showed up. I figured rent split 3 ways is easier than 1 person paying. If some issues pop up, I'm sure parents would step in, don't want to ruin that credit. I think they'll keep the place in good shape based on what I've seen today. Pay rent on time, keep the place in good shape = good renters.

I was wrong, one of the girls is crazy. Mom is away visiting brother, so they're supposed to bring rent over to me, it's late. She told my mom on phone she won't be paying because of some mildew problem. Said it was a problem since they moved in but just now is the first time she's mentioning it. She wants to get out of lease to move in with he bf is the belief. I think the other 2 girls want to stay. Renters can be a pain in the ass. Never want to get into that business.

Found a TV/VCR combo, found some VHS tapes. One old family reunion tape. Popped it in, first scene is of one of my cousins, who tried to blackmail me that Summer into going out with her. Trying to find some of my own VHS tapes if I have any left, don't think so.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking after I posted that. Paris being a big tourist spot, I don't know any cities in Iceland except the capitol and I would probably spell it wrong, Reykjavik

I had to Google spider swing to see if that was a real thing, it is. One of the things she was trying to blackmail me with

Iceland is probably the only place in the world where the effects of two major tectonic plates drifting apart can easily be observed above sea level.
Saw a documentary on that and it was awesome.
North America on one side, Europe on the other side.

Probably one of the most interesting things about Iceland..is how they handled bad bankers..
"Iceland Sentences 26 Corrupt Bankers To 74 Years In Prison"
Iceland just sentenced their 26th banker to prison for his part in the 2008 economic collapse. The charges ranged from breach of fiduciary duties to market manipulation to embezzlement."

Iceland looks cool. This is another from Iceland:
vik-iceland-holiday.jpg

which reminds me of one of my first domains I got as a "domainer" eysturoy.com one of the Faroe Islands, this was the picture I remember seeing. I think a lot of people would like to have at least 1 something of nature, this house has river/creek/whatever you call that, ocean, mountains. So 3 nature. Of course they eat a lot of fish, so I would probably have to open up a Papa John's franchise over there or something. I want to live somewhere like that.

We got about 2 inches of snow this morning....
But unlike the eastern part of the country, we did not shut down, did not send all unneeded workers home, and all that stuff.
Roads kept clear from first snow fall to the end.
People going on about their business like nothing happened.

This eastern part of the country doesn't shut down for 2" of snow - just the southerners. Two FEET? Maybe.

leet speak?

The above passage, written in a combination of letters and numbers, has been circulating social media for years and purports that only certain "strong minds" can read it.....

That's not exactly true — just about everybody can read the message with ease.

https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/ability-read-message-reveals-something-212520891.html

People with the strongest minds don't waste their time trying to read it ;)!

I know people who've vacationed in Iceland and really liked it. Might be a more popular destination among folks in the UK / Europe than in the US.
