It is better to develop it and keep a for sale sign in it. Got potential. I really like this domain name. Lets say for now I think it's value is $xxx. Good luck with it.

I disagree with... everyone? This usually doesn't happen.

You could buy PZZA.com for under $500. Why in the world would the .net be worth anywhere near that?

$xx

There is a missing " i ".
If it was Pizza.net, it would been worth much....more.

But it is pzza.
It doesn't remind me pizza.
Doesn't make sense and is not pronounceable.
Also, the domain is composed with many low quality letters(2 Z).

Resell price: Reg fee
End user price: low-mid $xx

Best of luck :)

I'm not a fan of the .net, but good luck buying the .com for under $500.

pzza.com Sold $2,499.00 on 4/9/2008 at NameJet

Currently listed at GoDaddy Auctions as "Make Offer" with a minimum bid of $5,000.

Heh. Whoever bought it overpaid like crazy.

I'll correct my statement though. PZZA.com is worth less than $500 to a sane reseller.

Wholesale price vs retail price.

$xx

I agree with your wholesale price. I quoted retail at 10x wholesale, which is conservative in our industry.

I agree with your wholesale price. I quoted retail at 10x wholesale, which is conservative in our industry.

You can't really quote retail. There is no way to gauge value in an industry that is controlled strictly based on want. Someone could value it at $100k. Someone else at $50.

Edit: Didn't notice your low xxx post.

If we're talking realistically, then a conservative quote based on a 10x multiple of the wholesale price is reasonable.

If we're talking dreams, then sure, someone could win the lottery and have this domain purchased for $100k.

We all like to dream, but domain sales in general (at scale), are more predictable than most realize. At scale, you throw out the outliers (lottery winners), and the sliding scale becomes clearer.

kzza.com reseller sold this year for $255 The pzza.com had some type of pizza development pre sale plus it is a typo of pizza (a word you would expect type ins) so it's past sale price and it's sale price of today cant be equated to the same feelings a hardcore domainer would think with the kzza.com. Feelings like " It dont mean anything, two 'z's' yuck".

Add in the net and it feels $xx

Goodluck
