The reason I ask this is simple I plan to release quite a few tools to make things easier but want to target the larger portion of the market. So I'm just asking what browser do you do most of your work in? Personally I find that FireFox does the mass majority of my work but Chrome does help somewhat.

Please let me know by voting on the poll above ^

Chrome is the clear winner with around 42% Market share. IE/Firefox. Have around 45% between them, Safari has around 8%. Of course these are not all domainers.

I feel the same as 4PM about Chrome. I prefer FireFox because of it's plethora of Add-Ons (although I try to keep them to a minimum to prevent possible browsing problems), and it's frequent updates with new features (ie support for HTML5 was the quickest in FireFox).

So IMHO you can cover 95% of the market with 4 browsers, Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari.

I voted for FF even though I'm starting to use Chrome a bit more than before.

here's why:

FF:
Huge amount of addon options
Great Developers tools - And frankly, even though chrome has good dev tools, i seem to find my way around FF dev tools easier with less hair loss. :p
Doesn't appear to bug out as bad as IE & Chrome when visiting websites using outdated / depreciated code
I'm just so used to it that it's hard to change completely over to something else yet

Chrome:
Appears to be more stable than the latest FF
Appears to run smoother / faster than the latest FF
Now has lots more Addons to choose from, but still not as many as FF
Has a great chopped down version for android mobile devices

IE:
Full of bugs and doesn't seem to conform to other browser standards
I kick myself every time I have to use it, as it reminds me every time why I don't
Chopped down version for windows mobile devices seems to work fine though

Opera:
Works fine for my mobile devices but not really that good otherwise
Not as many addons or support

Netscape:
Do people actually still use that?

Safari:
Basically the same framework as FF but with less support and less addons

-----------------------------------

In Conclusion: The above is just my personal opinions. Eventually I may make the leap to start using chrome as my primary and move FF to secondary status. However, for now, I'm still sticking with FF as primary. I'll be keeping tabs on chrome more though to see how they expand in the future.

Mainly use Firefox, after the last update it slowed down to a crawl so switched to Chrome, now it appears it's back up to speed but I've been using Chrome for a few weeks so not sure if I'll switch back or just stick with Chrome.
