Slight Site Design Alteration

We've had multiple complaints over the years that everything blended together to much (color wise) and people were getting lost on the home page trying to find the different categories / forums to post in. The color separation we implemented now should help with that factor to make life a little easier when trying to Navigate the community.

We disabled the other broken styles / templates as each one had many bugs in them and decided to set the current red/white/blue as default since it's the most up to date.

(We may bring back the other styles / templates at a later date when bugs are repaired in them)

I'm sorry to disagree, but for me the 'Clean' template was the best one and I hope you'll let us have it back.

Things that need to stand out, stand out. And it is all nicely wrapped together. Plus that scroller at the top no longer annoys me

Eric,

I think the new look is much better then the others for a handful of reasons. First you can clearly distinguish the links and it's just not so damn hard on the eyes lol. The contrasting background color is now much easier to deal with and it makes navigation super easy.

Overall I know that having multiple themes and maintaining them is a huge workload. I think centralizing things until a later date where all the bugs can be squashed is the best plan. So I think this was a good move and should only prove to be better as time passes.

Change takes time...

I am pleased with the new look and feel of the forum. The colors go well together and it has an overall clean and crisp look. Thanks for that!

Update:

A few more minor code repairs / updates to be noted:

Member Profiles

Tabbed navigation and results repaired so it no longer breaks out of the tables.
Ranks stacked on their own lines so they don't conflict with the reputation line anymore.

Business Members

Now have highlighted threads as described here

General UserGroups

Business Members and Supporters now have their own bold distinguishing username color.

General Site

Images are now auto re-sized in threads so they don't break out of the frame anymore
Color / Theme contrasting for easier navigation / identification
Minor bug / display fixes
Tables cleaned up
Bolder colored text for easier reading
Happy B-Day header announcement repaired and working properly

(Still tinkering under the hood with other minor modifications for a better user experience)

I'm going to second that, but I do appreciate all the other changes and the progress NP is making.. I just really miss the old default theme (not sure if it was the 'Clean' theme).. can't wait to get it back.
