Once again, you are showing that you missed the whole point of the exercise. I did not care about the format or the topic of the writing; I merely wanted you to pick two random samples that exemplify the quality of your writing. I have done this very same exercise with several other writers here and on another forum, and have created several pleasant working relationships this way.

I understand that you were daunted by the fact that I left it open-ended. This was done deliberately because I wanted to leave the power and freedom to impress me in your hands. When I am looking to hire, I hire the writer, not the writing.

It was a pretty simple request, and I tried to make it simpler for you by *not* placing all of these constraints that you just mentioned. As I've now said *many* times, I was interested only in your writing ability -- topic, keywords, length, etc, did not matter to me. If someone asked you to show two random pieces of writing that you felt exemplified the quality of your writing, what would you show them?

It was a very simple request and free from constraints. I don't understand why you started throwing insults at me and made it much more complicated than it needed to be.

Nevertheless, you seem to have found a few customers here, and I wish you all the best of luck.

due diligence is not asking someone who has written thousands of article for "higher quality". What does that mean? longer? Shorter? less keyword dense? more seo focused? more subjective? Less complexity and lighter sentence structure ? you are the king of vague and "due diligence" is a term misused by people often. Someone who says they earn $250 an hour who can't hire a writer online in today's market has some "quality" issues of their own.

As I explained previously, you gave me samples that were not well-suited to the kind of quality that I was looking to hire. I wanted to give you a chance by asking you to provide a couple samples of higher quality work.

Strangely enough, I have had very pleasant and smooth dealings with several people here, as my iTrader shows. As this is an Internet forum, you cannot fault me for doing due diligence before I hire someone.

I gave you more than a couple of samples. You refuse to give me a topic. Since i have over seven years of articles you ARE wasting my time asking me to guess what the h-e-double hockey sticks you are looking for, because you are too clueless to specify it.

Your strange response gives me more than enough caution not to deal with you. People confident in hiring work give test articles and qualify their interest by topic, not ask about background, why the rate is low, why the quality isn't higher, that's a big laundry list.
I think you are just fooling around. if you meant business there would be work on the table already.

Behaving defensively and telling me that you don't have time to "find links all day" for me when I merely asked you for a couple samples is not a good way to get hired.

The jab at my iTrader score (which is 100%) is also curious, given that we have the same number of ratings.

"wondering" why i have x background and write for y rate is a waste of time.
When you have some trader ratings to share and some sites up we'll talk. You have way too much time on your hands right now. Hassling ptential writers is a strange pastime for a time sensitive webmaster with "multiple projects" of no topical specificity.
