Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

Once in awhile I see people bidding on their own domains at NJ. I would think it would be frowned upon. Today's seems more obvious than normal. Or am I missing something here? Airlinejobs.com owned by Andy Booth at Booth.com and high bidder is BQDNcom (James Booth). 3 bids down we see...

Has anyone seen GoDaddy or Afternic reverse a completed premium domain purchase after an honest mistake?

Hi TKalls, someone alerted me to this thread. The email address fka1080405 posted is my active email. I did not receive anything from you about this domain. I would help you out with a refund but I let this name drop in May 2023. It looks like someone picked it up at Dynadot or at least moved...

showcase Showcase your .si domains (super-intelligence)

After seeing Josh's post about Lawyer.si being built out earlier I gave a lawyer friend a call. We both thought "Oh Shit"...this may be game changing in a way we didn't think of before. Many people are already familiar with "AI" knowing that it is basically Google on steroids (speaking of...

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

A question asked here...can you lower your reserves at NJ? Yes, you can. I have done it by email. I had names listed and after the market prices for those particular names dropped a bit I had to lower my reserves to get them sold. Oliver is not BS'ing on this. This is a non issue anyways. I...

discuss .web domain release date and thoughts

Whoever ends up owning it will hold back all short and most valuable domains anyways. We will be left to register leftovers and many will reg "just to get some". If you can't get the good stuff at a price that makes sense, like a low renewal, don't get anything. If you do not know what the...

I see I did receive an email from TKalls. It went to spam folder. Having "sofatable.com Purchase" in the title goes straight to spam here.

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

Back to the original post... I see MovieZone.com sold - $2,475 USD by boothcom Booth.com was the owner in whois during the auction. He said it was sold. OK, it can happen that when transferred the whois didn't update to the new owners info. This does happen sometimes. When I look at the 2nd...

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

I thought maybe they were selling for someone else but first had the domains transferred to their accounts, thus the whois reflecting there info during the auction. After looking up whois history at DomainIQ I seen they owned several for years. Airplanesforsale.com shows as owned by Andy Booth...

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

As for the whole, they share parking accounts thing... I have to say that's not a point of proof the way it has been presented. I sell domains and many buyers never change the nameservers. I still earn revenue on dozens of names due to this. As a buyer, I often do not get around to changing...
