I noticed you wrote this question a while back but was just talking to a friend about this.... There are no IDN's for .co.jp according to my friend who owns a small registrar here in Japan. Also, in order to get a .co.jp you must have a registered business in Japan. There are however IDN's for...- Points: 2

Yes, technically you have to have a company here in Japan to register a .co.jp. Don't have to have a company but do have to reside in Japan for .jp. There are however ways to get around the restrictions: jp-domains.com- Points: 1

Has anyone had problems registering new gtlds at 101domain.com? Suddenly refunding you claiming that it is a premium name, taking back the name after 3 or so months of ownership and asking you to call in with new pricing? This just happened with 2 of my names...
