I am wondering if anyone has seen any research that having a .CLICK in a PPC ad or search engine listing would increase clickthrough rates. If so, it would provide some intrinsic value to the name for marketing purposes.
For example, I gotta think that an ad with SeattlePlumber.CLICK would do...
Estibot: $2200
Average Monthly Search Stats - Exact Match - [eurail schedule]
Monthly Searches: 2,976
Cost Per Click: $8.72 USD
Ad Competition: high
Data Age: Recent
Not sure who the end user would be? A debt settlement agency, maybe?
Or you could put up free monthly payment calculators for all types of loans, become link bait and build up PR.
Other extensions are registered but not developed, never a good sign.
I would say $50-$100 for the potential...
Not necessarily. As stated, Twittery.com was registered and used in commerce prior to Twitter.com. Remember Apple paid $1million for iPhone.com
which had also been in prior use. As long as the name is not used to confuse people, it's not a clear case.

This 3 year old domain has been in use as a free proxy site, until my hosting company disappeared. Now I'm trying to decide whether to sell the name or build a new site.
Twittery has been in commercial use for at least 3 years as the name of a Twitter app for Macs. So you could get into trademark problems from multiple sources! Then again, it's a dictionary word as well, so could be used to build a site about birds:)
I would take $500 and move on.
Picked this up on eBay for pennies, but I think it should be worth more. Nearly 3,000 landscape architects listed in Google Maps. At least one of them should want this. Thoughts?
