Thanks for bringing this up. I've writen about this several times, and never received a response. And no on the forum supported me... Their "estimated value" is only part of the problem. Because when buyers click "make offer", in the next window they see so called "comparable sales". These are...

news Thank You and Good Bye Afternic.com

We're all willing to pay 15% for that. But the problem is, their shopping cart is glitching today, their landing pages aren't loading tomorrow. And that 15% turns into 25% (because if their landings don't work, we're forced to use their competitors). And even if everything works fine, there's...

@GoDaddy, Hi James, hope you are doing well. For many years, up until this November, if the minimum offer exceeded the numbers in this useless and unnecessary column "Why it's great", GoDaddy didn't show those numbers (same as with estimated value). Could you please bring it back to how it...

@GoDaddy, Another examples. Not my domains. I already undestand that nobody is going to change anything, but could you please explain to all of us, how the buers are supposed ti make a minimum offers when they see this crap on the right? I really feel sorry for the sellers of these...

Hi @Future Sensors, If people like you worked at GoDaddy, I would gladly pay even a 25% comission. I just want to sincerely thank you for everything you do for the domain community. Thank you very much, my friend!(y)

discuss I'd like to share a "bad fact" I discovered after tracking my own sales for the past ~6 months.

It's enough to simply check the WHOIS after the sale. If the domain is still registered with GoDaddy, it means they found it through the GD reg path. If not, then it was through the partner-registrar shown in the WHOIS.

Hi @GoDaddy, thanks for the response. I believe that it is not enough to block these domains. Accounts must be blocked. And one more thing. I have no desire to harm GoDaddy's reputation. I want GD to become better. And I just feel sorry for those people who pay 4 or 5-fig amounts and don't...

Everyone who recently changed the prices, check them. At first, both the landers and the Reg Path show the new prices, but after about a day they start showing the previous prices again.

I'm grateful to Afternic and GoDaddy for all the names sold. I am grateful to those brokers who helped with sales, but I am really tired of so many errors in the system. I hope that someday everything will change for the better. And please, pay attention to these "Comparable domans sold". Remove...

Considering everything that I described on the previous page, I decided to disable Boost. I was ready to pay this 20% if only the domains would continue to sell. But I'm tired of being nervous all the time. Either your landing pages do not work, or buyers simply cannot add the domain to the...

Hi @GoDaddy, thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. All this "estimated values" and "comparable sales" only hurts domain sales, especially when it come to high-value domains. Just en axample: Cognitive Automation com sold for $300k - GD appraisal $6723 Applied Computing com sold for $75k - GD...

Pay attention to the last screenshot. I gave them a chance and asked directly if this listing was fake. Just read their answer.

This is true. You can check it yourself. I've done this hundreds of times. And some users have already pointed this out. Lately I just stopped writing about all the problems here. They won't change anything anyway.

@GoDaddy When buyers click "Make offer" they see this... Once again I ask you to remove these so-called "Comparable" sales

Have you changed the price recently? If so, this is most likely the cause of problem. Approximately 24 hours after changing the price, domains dissapear from GD reg path (that's why the landing doesn't show the price), while Afternic dashboard still shows that everything is working correctly...
