Some of my past sales,
Kansas*City*Moving*Company
Atlanta*Courier*Services
St*Louis*Furnace*Repair
New*Jersey*Property*Managers
Around $300/each, end-users :)
Let's be honest, why do you post a sale? To show your success, to prove that your selling model works, to share your experience, to post some relevant info to the entire industry and help others to understand what sells at the moment.
Any of these would be completely irrelevant if you don't...
Who the hell cares how much the owner asks for his own domain? Screw SEO, SMO and other crazy words promoted by spammers. It's a domain and is worth what the buyer will eventually pay for it, either 1k or 100k. It's really not your problem and crying here is the shittiest way to appraise that...
Speaking about incomplete data.
I think it's OK to post smth like "GEO+plumbingservice.com, for low/mid/high $XXXX" or "Tokyo+Keyword(Service/profession).com, for low/mid/high $XXXX", because there is indeed some useful data to think about.
Well, you already lost the auction :) Just chill out and look for smth else... That domain sure is worth more than 12k, and I think every chain selling equipment would pay way more to own it.
First transaction on NP is usually funny :)
I remember mine, sold 7 or 8 domains on auction at an amazing price, $3  Buyer asked to push the domains before sending the payment too. And he was also new on the forum. To solve this situation, I had to use an "Escrow" service, Eric Lyon ;)...
Well, I had a couple of such situations :)
I usually tell the buyer that I'm living in another country/ on another continent and the call would be quite expensive. This is enough to continue the negotiation through email.
But, my last experience was very very strange and funny at the same time...
Congratulations! I remember the moment I joined this forum, it was an eye-opening event :) Through the years, Namepros became better and more enjoyable.
Well done, Namepros! Continue the path to success and hold the 1st position in the Best Domaining Forum charts!
