people around my area have trouble understanding .net and .org. They think everything is .com. When people like that see .co it doesnt register, they just see .com instead

Can you cancel a .com registration?

hi, this morning I regged a .com and later decided that the idea wasnt very good. probably could develop it but there is no mileage in it. Can you cancel domain registrations? I emailed domainmonster for cancellation and they saud this was not possible Thanks for contacting...

Any tips about ducking domain privacy fees?

i think it is expensive for what it is. There should be a figure paid in blocks, ie if you own upto 100 domains its X, if you own between 100-500 its Y and so on

Word of Advice Thread

my words of advice are: 1)use google keyword tool at ALL times when considering purchasing a domain. If no one is searching for the terms then no one is interested in the domain 2)dont get saturday night fever. I mean dont get excited when you find a name that is not regged, see point 1...

yeah it's easy to get saturday night fever and start regging this type of domains, you maybe even get away with it but the bottom line is that a trademark is a trademark and if they want to they can come after you for it
