Hi everyone,
I did one video with the concept of starting a domaining show. I am wondering what your thoughts are and any suggestions. Here is the video:
What is the point of this question? Reaching the bottom is one of the biggest motivators to financial success. When survival instincts and adrenaline kick in. Unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth or are living with your parents. Also, how would anyone know? Most people with...
I am passionate about the ocean and all things related. So I just had to get this one. Great name for a site selling ocean/surfing/sailing/fishing related products, services, forecast info, articles, photo galleries, art, directory, etc.
If someone gives you a hard time and calls you a cyber squatter, send them a link to this page:

It should set the record straight.
@Bob Hawkes, @NamePros is very fortunate to have you as a member. From what I can see you make great contributions to the community.
Unfortunately there are users who don't take domaining as something serious and still need to grow up. But the veterans on NamePros appreciate you being here...
I spoke with @Rob Monster on the phone as well. He is very cordial. That's why it is hard to understand the positions taken by Epik. At the same time I dealt with other key personnel of Epik who are far less cordial and, in fact, insulting and unprofessional. There is no coordinated message from...

The above article is very heavy on allegations and very light on evidence. The only "evidence" provided is a letter from GoDaddy expressing their decision of terminating relationship with Epik. The "Premium Promotion Agreement dated March 17, 2016" is an...
I've never seen a company so pretentious. If you want to start a motivational/self-help business, go ahead. But don't pretend to sit on a high-horse selling domain names. Mixing religion and politics with business never goes well together.
I don't take any news media on face value. I make up my mind based on what politicians say and do or don't say and do not do. I am especially skeptical of commentators which have their own agendas (on every network). It is getting more difficult to dissect fact from opinion.
Thanks, Bob, for the analysis. It gives us a broad overview of what is selling (or sold). It should be noted that the vast majority of sales go unreported. The sales that are reported are mostly from marketplaces and brokers that want to increase their brand awareness. Most sales go unreported...
As @sharfab mentioned, we need to continually reevaluate our portfolios based on financial situation and quality of domains. It's impressive that Mr. Mann can manage so many domains. My recommendation for most domainers is to take the strategic approach, rather than register every domain they...
Thanks to your well-thoughtout article.
Here is what I firmly believe:
If your full-time job is domaining, you can take a vacation but not a significant break that may detrimentally affect your renewals and domain sales/inquiries. But if domaining is a hobby and you find yourself addicted to...
I think one of the biggest mistakes I have made is not having a revenue stream in place to at least cover renewal costs which led to occasional cashflow issues and the necessity to let domains drop or stretching the grace period which can be playing with fire. Fortunately I have been able to...
Much depends on left side of the dot. Investors have to take into account the cost of holding on to a domain and the pool of buyers. If you have a great name in the io, co, org, or net extension then investing in annual renewals makes sense. However, after com a solid ccTLD makes most sense...
