This video is very old and urls no longer play such an important part in seo. I know a few years ago it was huge to do "seo friendly" urls. I do not think they matter much any more.

I agree with you in terms of mobile and ssl. I should have mentioned mobile because it is becoming more and more vital. My point on ssl was only that I think Google will raise that 1% eventually which makes it a no brainer to switch at some point.

Social media or backlinks?

I agree with some of the others here. Social media is a great way to get traffic but it will only benifit you while you are actively pursuing it. Natural and good back links on high ranked and related sites will give you a better ranking and lasting traffic though maybe not as immediate.

Wow, How is it possible for someone to steal and sell a domain? I never knew this was a problem. Do you mean someone hacked someones domain registrar account and transferred the domains to their own account? How is this possible with ICANN needing name and address, etc? Pardon my ignorance on...

I have not heard that though I heard that eventually Google will be pushing for all sites to have SSL. Right now there is only a 1% boost have it. Not much of an incentive.

Google Launches Android 5.0 Lollipop

I've got the update already on my nexus 7, 2013. It is rooted already. What really sucked is that the ota update locked my boot loader. To unlock I had to wipe. Keep that in mind if your rooted and do the ota. On my lg g3 no such luck yet. Still waiting for the ota but not sure if I'll do it...

GoDaddy hosting services

Godaddy is decent for a WordPress site. You can update everything easily through the panel and even upgrade on the fly with many packages. I would not recommend them for most other sites but they are decent for small to medium WordPress.

I would focus mainly on good content and making sure to check and remove high risk incoming links. I am also thinking ssl is going to be more important in 2015. Currently I believe it adds only 1% to rank but I think this percentage will go up. Who knows though? What is good right now may kill...

yes, there are some apps that cannot be moved. Usually devices that are rooted can be unrooted and relocked before sending it for warranty, etc but it depends on the device.
