In my experience, what the .com or any other country code sold for is not really a great yard stick to go by. It is definitely worth noting though, but should not be the deciding factor. Try and see it developed in your minds eye and see how .tv reads with it. Does it make sense? If you see...

I just read all of the goings on.. people in private chats, people hating others, people beating their chests and people standing on the sidelines scratching their heads. All good things really in regards to how a forum works - it would be just be better that it happened all in one room...

It seems the forum is just about dead now. Other than the "local experts" weekly expo and a few newbies like me, the "others" have all gone underground or into the bat cave. Its quite sad that the site is so fragmented.. Anyway such is life..

.tv zurich.tv sold for $4000

I noticed that Zurich.tv sold for $4000 on sedo.. It was a $500 per year premium. I am not the owner or have anything to do with the sale. I think that was a good cheap buy. I wish my funds were a little better at this time - I would of made a bid. Congrats to buyer and seller.

Im not sure what your actually trying to say?...I think your mistaken if you think geo tv's are all $1000 and mistaken again that they are owned / run by "official tourism" offices.. A very weird post in relation to the thread. imo confused.

Yes Jimbo, I think if you really want to secure "the brand", I think you have to get the tv.com also. At first I was not prepared to pay that much, but as the negotiations went on, I saw that I really did need it and was prepared to pay at least double for what I did eventually pay... I want...

I have a premium that costs me $XX per day in fees annually. I also have the tv.com as a "back up" that costs me $X per year. I purchased the tv.com, after long negotiations for $x,xxx Lately Im struggling to think long term about keeping the .tv as it does not make sense in the long term...
