The FUTURE of Domain Name Brokers and The Long Tail

If the cost to try to broker a domain in a week is 8.49 non-refundable then this isn't any better than hand-registering a domain for 8.49 and trying to sell it in a year. A week is too short of a term to get anywhere near full outbounding potential. Technically, couldn't they just hand-register...
