    Well answered @MetBob, I would also include in the response a few examples of what similar domains sold for. I find that this helps adjust the buyer's expectations and establish trust, as buyers often feel being taken advantage of.

    I tried outbound, sending about 20-30 emails with a few domains and got no replies. However, I do believe it's a case of emailing the right person at the right time, so yes as @bashariqbal wrote, expect more misses than hits.

    I was about to buy a .app, then I realized it is still very early days as people outside the domainer bubble won't go looking for an app they want via it corresponding .app domain. I just don't see the value yet, unless for future-proofing the brand of your app.
