OP thinks people with 15-30 years of experience in an industry gives them an edge over newcomers. That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. ;)

I've renewed a few domains for multiple years. My thought is if you see the domain isn't expiring for 5 years, you might as well just pull the trigger now. Plus if you are an end user then you're probably paying $20 a year so 5 years is like $100 in your mind that you don't have to pay. Most...

You send 4k via Paypal in exchange for the username and password. Then you spend it as fast as you can on 60-day domain locked names. Then cry when the OP either files a credit card chargeback or pushes the "forgot password" link and retakes the account. Maybe you could buy your own names...

It shouldn't. The name might be catchy and niche appropriate but it's not the big selling point. Google.com is a 3k brandable that's being used by a multi-billion dollar company but the value is in the service being run by it. I suppose you could argue that a more accurate bot would take...
