They might already have that. When Amazon asks sellers to provide wholesale invoices, there have been people on the seller forums who have complained that Amazon's fraud detection caught something on their PDF or JPG files.
But whether or not Namebio has something similar. I think it's safe...
I was surprised that there wasn't a better aggregator out there especially for us domainers. I would never buy a domain from Afternic or Sedo without checking Dan/Epik/GD first.
People have mentioned DOFO but there's been a few times I get a "Talk to broker" but the domain is for sale or it...
I think you posted about ibonds right before the May increase to 9.62%. I knew about bonds when I was a kid but hadn't owned any. The last time I had looked I think was when they were below 2% so after seeing your post I did some research on them and when the rate jumped a few days later, I...
I wasn't actually shopping for those. I just typed the domains into my browser to see if those august sales resulted in anything. I recommend that for anyone wondering why a domain sold. Especially if you feel the amount is excessive.
When I went to each page it linked me to current auctions.
The 24,000+ sales here seem to be predominantly Afternic sales. https://www.namepros.com/threads/report-completed-domain-name-sales-here.83628/page-986
So their profit should be lower but the author might not know the difference between revenue and profit. If Epik takes in $10 for a renewal and sends away $8 then that's $10 in revenue, $8 in Costs of Goods Sold and leaves $2 as either profit or waiting for more expenditures.
This is a situation I have started trying to apply. Early on I was happy to acquire $299 domain names via handreg or auction but if they sell at the same 1-3% rate as my $900-$3000 domain names which can also be bought for under $50, then why add the overhead by grabbing those $299 names. I'll...
You just go to Epik, Porkbun or wherever and type in the word like "meta" and it shows you which are available. Sometimes they'll have an area for recommendations which usually just take the word you are searching and add the city that matches your IP address.
I don't know about handshake domains but I've got a couple dozen names with porkbun and they are all listed for sale. It was super easy to list them, from my domain list, I just click on a field and enter a price. Changing nameservers is also insanely easy.
I've yet to have an SMS from them...
This is the discussion thread for the actual reporting thread: https://www.namepros.com/threads/report-completed-domain-name-sales-here.83628/page-972#posts
Holding an undeveloped domain for a trademark could be bad. Though you could possibly throw up a wordpress page with a focus on anything other than T-shirts and you might be alright considering the generic term. Maybe an Alice Cooper tribute page?
Also, Creation Date: 2000-03-06T23:44:27Z...
At the beginning of this post, I was thinking 4k was a good price. But I see the .com is taken by a blog with no new posts in 2 years...and an about page with links to a variety of crypto people including the COO of Coinbase and the Winklevoss twins. I didn't check to see if the content was...
@blogspotter Your Second xyz sale was pretty impressive! Looking at Namebio, there's only been 19 domains with web3 sold and yours is the second highest to date!
Don't forget to ding them on TrustPilot and other review places too.
They got me for a .io domain I had no interest in keeping. I didn't realize the auto renew was on for all transfers in and they got me 30 days before. I would have auctioned it for $1 to break even and instead I'm out $30...
@Eric Lyon Thank you for taking the time to reply.
This is usually where the person asking for help blindly argues but I think you've been pretty generous with your valuation and your research is enviable.
I was the buyer on the second purchase that you mentioned back in August. When I...
Other> Renewal fees. Usually when I buy a domain name, I ask myself if I would be willing to renew the domain name at least twice.
I would say this is the lowest in my list of considerations though because there are domain names that I'd be super excited to own even if renewal was $100/year
I own NFTnazi in king. After selling my first NFT name, I reinvested most of that profit into more NFT names and handreg'd this one. I don't like the idea of profiting off of hate but I guess if someone wants to use the name, it'll cost them a lot more than reg fee to acquire it and then I can...
