    Fake NameJet auction???

Another question: Do I have to outbid the highest bidder now, or will I get it at my last bid if the current highest bidder doesn't pay, which I think is the case as he most likely is a "robot" working for the seller. (Network Solutions)

    Fake NameJet auction???

I participated in a private auction for a domain name the other day. I noticed that the other backorder bidders are the same as on every auction. AKA FAKE! Only me and 1 other were bidding and he ended up outbidding me. 24 hours later I got an email from namejet saying the auction is back...

    How to bid over?

Another thing. What's the point of keep raising the pre-release/backorder auction when it will go on auction after it ends anyway?

    How to bid over?

Now I get it :) Is it smart to set a proxy bid? letting the other bidder know you're still in it to win it... or act like you're no longer interested when they place a higher bid of $1 to raise the auction...then leave it and start bidding the last 6 minutes instead? :)

    How to bid over?

We noticed your backorder bid is higher than the required minimum bid. While a domain is in Pending Delete or Pre-Release status, backorders above the minimum bid cannot be deleted or lowered. Pre-Release Auction (Private)

I doubt it will be in much use to anyone unless they want to run a diner. But still, I should be more careful :)

"name-name.com" was just something I put as an example.

    Pre-Release Auction (Private)

Yes, I own name-name.net and I replied I want to buy it before finding this out. Then I sent another email saying I'm not interested after all. So I hope they don't bid :P Thanks a lot for explaining! :)

    Pre-Release Auction (Private)

It's not my domain. I am hoping to get it. But seeing as 2 "sellers" have offered it to me for $550 / $399 I don't think it's going to be mine for $69... but what I am confused about is that it's not really expired when networksolutions have renewed it for another year? :-/

    Pre-Release Auction (Private)

Hi, I am confused because this week 2 different sellers contacted me saying they want to offer me namename.com for $550..the other one offered it for $399. After checking WHOIS I see that the domain is in fact expired and not owned by anyone at the moment and the domain is listed at namejet.com...
