Encouraging message from GoDaddy

I recently had an offer on a domain name at GoDaddy auctions which I accepted. However, the potential buyer never responded, and was obviously a time waster. GoDaddy sent me this message today which hasn't happened on any other platform with a non payer. Please do not release the name...

I've just noticed that GoDaddy have added a heading on their menu bar "Coupons" It's at the top right in red. It lists their current deals. (but not big discounts for new registrations) I think it's new, at least I haven't noticed it before. Perhaps they want to keep everything under one roof...

Can available domains be worth a lot?

Most of the names I have were hand reg'd. It's not very often that I buy any already registered. All the sales I've had in the past 13 years or so have been hand registered. In fact I don't think I've sold any pre registered names for more than $10-$20 to get rid of them. I sold a hand reg' this...

I just registered QuattroDrone and QuatroDrone I was surprised to find them available as all the others have been taken (BiDrone, TriDrone, PentaDrone, HexaDrone, etc.) Regards Ralph

What to do if a legit end user contacts you first?

Personally, I would probably ask to negotiate somewhere in between the two figures saying that you are sure that you can both come to an amicable agreement. Obviously you don't want to sell too low; but don't be too greedy either if you think it's a genuine offer. Just my thoughts on the...
