    Hello from Berlin

Welcome. I was in Berlin for the Domaining Europe conference two weeks ago. Great city.

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

Yes there is an issue.. If you list a name without reserve but you keep a secret reserve by shill bidding on the name, you are in fact deceiving people to think they have a chance to buy the name at a certain price point when no chance is there. It makes it okay to deceive people if you are...

question The vast majority of my cold emails ending in a 'black hole'. Why?

Let me ask you.. How many of your spam emails do you open? If you are not sending individual messages and you are targetting harvested emails.. Then you are a spammer and most likely people are correctly identifying you as such from your header or sender address. Then you are put in the spam...

report Up to date list of registrars which do not allow outbound transfers.

LOL.. Just checked your source. @stub means he wont buy domains that are locked for 60 days at those registrars. You misunderstood and frankly you should do more research before posting stuff like this. EDIT Come on guys. No registrar has a policy of not allowing transfers.. Thats just...

sales Milo Yiannopoulos is ripped off to the tune of $138,000 in Hatred.com sale

This is beyond ridiculous. Since when have we ever in the domaining community complained about an end user not being privy to domain reseller price levels? So now if an End User pays more than reseller prices he is a fool to be ridiculed and the seller is a scammer and con artist? Its an...

Bidding on your own names at NameJet...?

Come on now @zurc.net . Valid points? Yeah they are valid.. Like the US president makes valid points.. If you are selling a domain name, dont bid on it. Easy as that. You can convolute and deflect sure. But anyone with half a brain knows whats right and whats not.

sales ETH.com sold by Sharjil Saleem

I dont doubt that Sharjil has made a lot of money. If you have no scruples and lie at every opportunity you get you are often at an "advantage" to people trying to make an honest living. I was first approached by Sharjil one year ago. Although I did not know it, since he was using one of his...

I lost $5805usd through PayPal scam by Shane Bellone

Let me call you out then. @DomainVP You are the sycophant I was referring to in this thread. He has others and its becoming clear that his cronies might have been doing more than just trying to defend a hustler, but also might have been actively trying to aide him in scamming (or profit...

I lost $5805usd through PayPal scam by Shane Bellone

I have used Paypal for domain transactions since 2005. Never had a scam or chargeback against me (knock on wood). More than 2000 transactions total. If you vet your buyers and only transact with individuals you trust, then is a nice medium to do quick deals through.

SCAMMER FROM SINGAPORE ASIA!!! BE AWARE!!!

Wauw. The plot thickens. I guess everyone (except ZapNano) had a feeling that OmarVG was the bad guy in this story. Anyone that conducts himself in that manner is up to no good. Love how he says he manages "his million dollar portfolio of domain names". Not doing a great job if he is selling...

discuss What I learned in the last week about domainers

Its amazing so many people are getting brown around their mouth sucking up to the Uglydork. I think all the hatred he is experiencing comes from what he sowed himself. I know I dont like him one bit. I think he is a narcissistic asshole. At least that is one thing we agree about.. Excerpt from...

I am a re-seller not an end user

Some WTB post are most certainly real buyers. I made plenty of requests and purchases through those. Trouble is that 1 out of 100 PMs conform to your requirements. The rest are people that have names that they thought you might like. So you get 300 PMs and maybe 3 of them live up to your...

new gtlds Rick Schwarz Predicts A "Collapse" Coming (ngTLD's)

Someone that is wet eared is a noob. He is talking about 99% of nGTLD investors, whom are noobs that have no idea. Saying stuff like: "Unfortunately, in reality, there will be no collapse whatsoever." In reality there have been multiple collapses before a single nTLD ever entered the scene...

This: I just returned from Domain Europe conference yesterday. At the conference a domainer, I wont name any names, went on stage to enthusiasticly talk about his gTLD portfolio and its success. To be fair he himself said he had a 5 year perspective on them, but I think he was being...

report Up to date list of registrars which do not allow outbound transfers.

All registrars must allowed outbound transfers for legacy domain extensions such as .com,.net and .org. So I am not sure what you are talking about. This thread is riddled with false information.
