I'm not going to disclose the actual domain just yet due to some agreements between the buyer and myself. But will say I just sold a .BID domain for just under $1000 to an end user who contacted me the other day.

I believe that number is going to drop drastically over the next couple of months, unless someone cuts renewal fees, or an extra year is given away.

question How long does it take BrandBucket to approve/reject domain name?

I had one of mine on BB, it took between 2-3 weeks to get accepted, and it took about another 1.5 months before it was live with a logo.

I own my last name in a .net... All other extensions were taken, and I got the .net in a drop. My first name I'll probably never own as Dave/David is pretty common. I've thought about buying my first/last.com, but haven't yet.

This is one boat that I wish I did miss... don't worry though, I'm getting off at this stop! I didn't go crazy and buy a bunch, I did get a few, which I'm going to return this year.

I plan to drop some, but renew some of them as well. I sold one .bid for $999, so that's enough for me to hold on to some of the gtld's I have for now. I have less than 30 total.

All of the top tld's are taken, and it's a very common phrase/job title for over the road trucking. May make a good domain to develop a over the road truck driving jobs website, or something related if someone is searching for over the road work.

Oh I know, I don't own it due to it being an uncommon sure name, but rather it'll make someone a good start up business name as it's catchy, and would make a good brand... It just happens to be an uncommon sure name also.

I don't think I would, unless it was very very cheap. I do own my last name in a .net though. I own a surename in a .com, just not a very common one... hopefully someday someone out there will just haaave to have it :D
