advice I'm being Sued - Is This Nuts?

I have been sued on several occasions. Most of those were at the early internet days (late 90's and early 2000's) when user reviews become popular and many of the business owners didnt like negative posts from our users. The best one was when a business filed for Chapter 11, screwed many...

    New gTLDs renewal numbers?

Well, it was not really about my domains as I usually pick those that I can also develop. It was more about some official renewal numbers for the generic domains. Or just to see what others are doing as I can imagine some "domainers" perhaps overvalued the demand for new gTLDs. Disclosure: I...

    GoDaddy sucks, again

I had similar situation. Send email to GD Review60 Team at [email protected] and request to unlock the domain. It will take them a few days but they should unlock it.

What new gTLD domains have you registered?

No. If anything, they will go with comcast.email or so. After a few weeks, the new email won't be new anymore, so it makes no sense to use something like that.

What new gTLD domains have you registered?

Let me give you one more example. In 2011 I have inquired about a domain for a project. Lets just say the domain was something like industrysystems.com. The seller was asking way too much and the sale never happened. As you can imagine, I kept receiving emails and offers from the seller. Every...

New gTLD count as of 22 March

Low demand huh? Based on what numbers? Do you really think that juts because there is 150 new gTLD (and another 1000 or so coming) the sales are going to skyrocket? Personally I think many people looking for a domain will consider one of the new generic domains because the selection will be...

173 new gTLDs delegated so far

The Ruhr (German pronunciation: [ˈʁuːɐ̯], German: Ruhrgebiet), or the Ruhr district, Ruhr region or Ruhr valley, is an urban area in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.[a] With a population density of 2,800/km² and a population of some eight and a half million, it is the largest urban agglomeration...

    New gTLDs renewal numbers?

Always nice to get a valuable response from a long time EXPERT so thank you! Seriously, not sure why the hostility and sarcasm. I bought my first domain in the 90s and since them invested and paid 5 figures for many .com domains. Many of those were weekly top sellers on SEDO and yet I got my...

    New gTLDs renewal numbers?

As the time is here to renew many of the generic domains, I was just wondering if there are any official numbers available. While, I'm not planning to renew 100% of my gTLDs I will or already have renewed most of them and will let go just a few. How about you?

Why Failed New gTLDs are Best for End Users

Sorry, but none of those are suitable for regular business website. mobi = garbage meant for mobile use. At least should be .mobile .tel = a phone domain? .travel = not suitable unless you are travel website .asia = maybe for some Chinese website .aero = not suitable for any business even...

Why Failed New gTLDs are Best for End Users

What a stupid question. The new generic domains are just being released and you are asking what prominent websites are using them. Ask the same questions in five years and then you can declare the gTLDs are a bust. I can imagine startups and new businesses picking up gTLD for new projects. At...

GoDaddy Auctions -- Discussion, Acquisitions, and Sales

On Wednesday evening PDT I was bidding on some gTLDs from my pre-registration that went into the auction because there was more than one pre-registration buyers. Luckily I was the only bidder on 3 of the 4 domains I was bidding on but manage to grab all 4 of them. When I was ready to checkout...

discuss The new dot everything showcase and discussion

Just wondering if all the old-timers from this forum are preaching "gTLDs are junk" while quietly registering those generic domains because every time I'm about to register one of those new domains, and I'm not talking some super premium names, everything is already registered. So who the heck...

What new gTLD domains have you registered?

Yes, NET is crappy, it has no special meaning. Mostly associated with networks. Its like going from gas to diesel. Biz is crap and has no meaning. US is too limiting. And since you were talking about merchants, INFO is not suitable for many business types including merchants. TRAVEL is not bad...
