sublime/link/directory/com sold at GD auctions for 100 $ Purchased from NP auctions for 5 $ couple of years ago. It was registered on Namecheap and godaddy took almost one month to verify the transfer and pay me.

GoDaddy Backorders - Any good?

They do refund you if they fail to catch any domains for you after you have tried multiple times and when you tell them that their service is totally crap and demand refund. I am talking from experience.

There is another theory. Bob Parsons era was gold for some people. But he wasn't being generous. A .com domain registration costs 7-8 $. Those are only icann fees. He was selling them for 99 cents. Money was coming from marketing budget. He was slowly making godaddy the biggest registrar. Now...

XYZ is like Doge coin

When I search for a domain on dynadot.com, xyz is showing at fourth position after .com .net and .org. I don't have the exact numbers but it seems a lot of people are registering these names.
