Actually, good 5 letter are sold for x.xxx right now. What I was saying is that with bigger pool you have to be more selective while in LLLL field almost anything goes. Otherwise your reasoning a strategy is correct.

I think namecept put some very good points out there which are worth to follow. That being said brandable market is world on its own and it is rather difficult to grasp IMHO. Look at Tumblr, Flickr, Twitter, Brandbucket etc, .... none of those names have shown high metrics before the business...

Hi, This is what I would call lower grade brandable domain. It is pronounceable but has little to no meaning and the sound is not great IMHO. Still if you find end user you might fetch some xxx+. But it might take while even through brand able marketplace. So be patient and good luck..
