Igor, think of a trademark as a persons first and last name which is used as a means of identification: Where the first name is the trademark: IBM And the last name is the good or service: computer hardware and software So if there are many ABC companies, the last name (good or service) helps...

Now, why this is interesting to me: When I go to shopify.com, I would expect to see a marketplace something similar to Amazon, but that is not what I get. When I go to bookify.com, I would expect to see books for sale, but that is not what I get. I assume most domain investors invest in domains...

It's not impossible...its easy and what you have to do. You just have to understand and learn how. If there is a trademark for "Metaverse" for confectionery products then you cannot use Metaverse for confectionery products.... you would have to use it for something else....to prevent infringement.

I'm over doing this but I think cases like this bug me because if 2. is false and the letters of the UDRP policy are followed then any bad faith in 3. is overridden. from: 1. your domain name is identical or confusingly similar to a trademark or service mark in which the complainant has rights...

Glad you remembered (y) After looking and for clarification: https://www.gem.wiki/Axiall_Natrium_Plant Natrium Employees FCU is 3 miles from Natrium, West Virginia which is named for sodium, sits on salt deposits. It's also a few miles from the above plant.
