Yes, I might have gone too far in my posts. Not trying to go off-topic and start another argument on this thread, however the link that you posted mentions about copy-righted or trademark infringing domains which were actually involved in sales of goods. However, this case is different.

If this is not a unique case, and people posting statements that "Hey, I know a software by which you can hack into wifi servers" or "If you mix bleach with vinegar then you can make Chlorine" or "I've written a script which can hack wifi networks" and such were getting punished on regular...
Are you not reading my posts at all? I'm saying that "hacker forum" is where all users are stating similar statements and hence all of them can be considered as guilty, if the seller was considered to be so.
The conversation that he engaged, was done through hacker's forum by the agent in...
Thanks very much for the information! Although the thread seems to heading towards a slightly different direction. I know about the basics of trademarks and UDRP policies and how outbounding could result in cybersquatting (as the term is used in original post).
What I wanted to know was that...
When you've got no valid points to make or debate about, then you can certainly think of using such remarks to make yourself look smart...
Hence, I'll stop my argument here, as there is nothing left to discuss. Either way, I was stating my personal opinions over an arguable point. I apologize...
I'll emphasize on the last part again.
A seller while trying to sell his domain, was suggesting that you could use this (a totally legal) domain in illegal ways, at a hacking forum. (Really no one will take him seriously!). While the domain name itself doesn't pose any threat, neither has the...
While that could be arguable under a different topic, I don't believe that anyone has been sued or punished due to what he has stated on some "hack forum".
I don't find it logical that seller's intent was determined to be fraudulent because of what he stated on a Hacker's Forum. Again, it is a...
I understand. What I'm trying to say is that if he can be considered as someone who has done punishable offence or fraud, then everyone on all the hacker forums would be considered so.
In that case, everyone on every hacker forum on the internet, would be considered as criminal who is planning to perform illegal acts. Such topics and discussions are what hacker forums are for. Its not like the seller said all that in some media channel. He said that in a hacker forum, where...
Wait what really?! It shouldn't be possible to seize a domain just for a reason like "the seller said it was genius to sell fake testing kits using it". Even that is said at a "hacker forum" by the seller, the seller directly hasn't done anything at all. This is pretty messed up on many levels.
I believe it is written in the original post.
May be I wasnt clear but it is shortened form of Communication Acceleration. Like Commscope and other brands. Its category is telecom or it could be used as commerse(com?) as well
Thanks
Hi Ajet, if you're referring to the guide that I mentioned in original post, then its here;
namepros(.)com/blog/how-do-you-sell-geo-targeted-domain-names.961186/
So basically I have to search TM's like in normal domains and just because the domain has location in it and appears to be generic, it won't make any difference or give me leeway (legally), if a similar name is already trademarked. Geo-domains are no different from normal domains.
Is that about it?
I see. By well known, I didn't mean to say that there is not a single trademark for purely geological name.
Still pointing that out helped, thanks, already seems risky to me. As for the thread, I'll leave it to mod to change it or not.
Well... thanks for leaving a completely irrevelant reply. Much appreciated. I'm not sure if there has been such rememberable and impactful volcano in Dallas...
Hey all!
Okay, so it is well known that US government doesn't accept trademarks based on 'purely' geological names. A major number of domainers invest in [ geo + generic word ] names. There is even a popular guide on namepros on how to do that.
While, purely geological names cannot be...
Domain; comaccel.com
It is hand-registered, age is negilible.
A name for young telecom brand. Accelerate the communication.
Requesting your opinions about it!
