domain A bunch of new regs – 4 Letter “Pronounceable?”.coms

Kim, They all have some of the "dreaded" characters (z,y,x,v,j,w,q,y). The only one that jumped out to me was Uhyk.com "you hike". Good Luck with them, hopefully all the LLLL.com's will be gone soon.

    GoDaddy increases DDC price 2x - $240 a year

GoDaddy is the worst. Been with them for 15+ years. My DDC membership expired, did not renew it a month ago. Went to renew, thinking $120 a year and saw the price was now $240. What??? I contacted customer service. Nothing they can do, talked to them, chatted with them lol, just awful...

discuss Do you pay taxes for domain sales?

Do we know which domain companies file 1099's? GD/Afternic? Sedo? Flippa? I've always reported w/ or w/o a 1099, I'm just curious. It'd be nice if the companies let you know a 1099 was coming too. I've heard horror stories of it getting lost in the mail etc. then someone finds out years...

    LLLL.biz beats LLLL.org floor price

LLLL.org chips are still around $25, although many (double letter, better combos) are going for mid-high $xx. Chaomi only reports on sales from 4.cn. Not a complete picture of the entire market, and even now on Chaomi LLLL.orgs are back to 165 yuan. LLL.orgs go for mid-high $xxx all day.

    question LLLLL.com vs LLLL.org values?

LLLL.org chips have seen an increase in popularity, many going for $35-$85 now. Cheap investment with a nice potential return in the short-term.

    question NamesCon Auction online results

25% is prettttttty steep....definitely a step back for domainers and sellers.

    The LLLL.org countdown

Agreed, but you could've said that about .net chips 5 months ago and LLLL.coms 5 years ago. Recent LLLL.org sales tell the story, we're seeing more and more and better prices. We're also seeing more and more being registered and renewed too, non-chips. Only time will tell but at their current...

    discuss CHIPS and NON CHIPS

At least attempt to be realistic here folks. If you sell any CHIP below $2k right now you're a fool and I know plenty of folks who will take them off your hands. Everyone touting the $3k average, that was very very short lived...yet many CHIPS continue to sell near or around that mark. If I...
