Well it can't be that bad of an idea.. I mean, it seems to have worked. It gathered strong supporters and gained attention like it wanted. And it's not done for sure, but SOPA is at least on hold..

GoDaddy vs NameCheap

For the price, godaddy is a good registrar because you can find 100s of codes for things like 1$ domains, cheaper registrations and renewals as well as even free whois privacy.. but an overall view, they're both good I think. Namecheap is definitely a great registrar and you can't go wrong with it.

I've never heard of leasing a domain.. and you bring up a valid point.. you build up the value of the domain, what's to stop him from selling it? Unless, prior to you leasing it, you both sign a legal contract stating that so long as you are "leasing' said domain, he is unable to sell the...

Personally I think the design is a bit plain. Far too monotone.. when you've got a site dedicated to providing themes/skins/etc for anything really, I think you should also have a nicely designed layout for your own site. The slider is nice but after that, the design seems to drop off. Basic...

A nice little script and I can think of several uses where it would be handy in full or in part, such as free forum/site software that don't allow for open source editing and/or PHP support. But, with users being able to disable JS and/or manipulate it easier, it's definitely got it's risk...
