Found a GD premium auction listing on 12/1 for $250. checked the whois info and the domain is registered with GD as registrar so i decided to give them a call and verify that there wouldn't be any issues with it being moved from the sellers GD account to my GD account after completing the BIN...

great questions, the only thing that makes sense at this point is 'seller's remorse' and for whatever reason GD is allowing them to back out of the deal after the fact.

Thanks for the insight guys, much appreciated. I suppose my question now would be: is there something I should do/avoid doing now to make sure they don't have any legal grounds to claim the domain violates their trademark and attempt a forcible handover? Just trying to avoid a situation down...
