I like namecheap. their support has been great. I've had no issues with namecheap. Godaddy charges extra for things namecheap offers for free... like the privacy guard for example.

question Selling a domain. does anyone here put their real info on the whois record?

not talking about putting fake info on there, question is do I put my real info out there or keep privacy on when selling? if I remove privacy my real personal information would show up.

I am not doing this (I read somewhere it should be done when selling a domain)... I don't feel comfortable putting my personal information online. just wondering if others here are putting their real information on the whois record? will that improve the chances of making a domain sale?

what's your experience with them? how long was your site listed before it sold? did you use the appraisal service? did you get your payment without problems? what did you do to promote your site other than list on sedo?

doing a search on a domain selling site for "macintosh", I see 119 domains for sale using that word in some form. So I'm told here that my sites; ihateleopard.com, and maccertify.com are worth nothing because of potential legal issues... . is it because of the use of the name, or the the...
