news SnapNames and NameJet backorders now $79

Not true at all. There is so much out there if you have the right software.

question Does CIRA share .ca WHOIS info with public or Google?

Anyone have any idea the privacy on Canadian domains? Or any ccTLD for that matter?

question Does CIRA share .ca WHOIS info with public or Google?

I can never seem to do a WHOIS lookup for any .ca domains. Is it private? Additionally, would Google or any search engine have access to this data? Or is it strictly private?

Can't do anything with SnapNames domains

Which domains go under lock and which don't?

Wow, eNomCentral really sucks as a domain registrar!

I recently had some pretty bad experiences with them too. Would not recommend. NameJet is making them popular.

Obviously they think that. Additionally, people won't switch. Snapnames is the best, and people stick with it.

Do all drop-caught domains go into auction lock?

I backordered a domain with NameJet, they sent it to eNom Central after I won it. eNom Central said I can't sell it within 30 days, it's in "auction lock" So the buyer cancelled and wants a refund. Just lost a sale and a big $$$$ customer. Pretty damn mad at NameJet and eNom Central right...

Is auction lock on all registrars?

I bought a domain name this week from NameJet pending delete. They sent it to eNom Central. I sold the domain already. I want to push it. They told me it's in auction lock until August 24th. First, is there anything I can do to speed this up? Second, if I would have bought it at SnapNames and...

    Cheap backorder providers?

Thanks, I'll check it out! I didn't say I was trying to beat a backorder service. I don't have time to check manually, and I have too many domains I want and I'm usually not at my desk waiting for a drop either. I just want to snatch up all the ones left from a big list. I'll check this out...

    Cheap backorder providers?

I want to increase my margins on my domains by buying domains for less than the $60-70 backorder fee. I understand that the guys priced $60+ are going to be the best around, but I'm in a position where I only want the domain if I can get it for less than that. I'm looking for a backorder...

question How frequent does SnapNames attempt to check a domain name on backorder?

I thought the exact time of day was unknown?

question How frequent does SnapNames attempt to check a domain name on backorder?

If I backorder a domain that is expiring tomorrow, how often can I expect SnapNames to check for expiry?

question Snapnames and Namejet backorders go to same auction?

So I backordered a domain on Snapnames, then backordered it on Namejet. I got an email from both companies, saying that there is another bid for the name. So I saw on namejet, the 2 bidders are both me. What exactly is going on? Which companies actually caught my domain?
