    Hello

Hey! I've been lurking NamePros for the past 6 months or so since I started picking up domains. Hoping to become more active in the NamePros community, and clean up my portfolio in the next little while. This forum's been a huge help in learning about domains and figuring out which names I...

what the hell this isnt how domain investing works sorry man 1. the domains are borderline nonsense 2. literally worthless 3. trying to capitalize on a tragedy by hand-registering names and expecting to immediately flip them for 10 million dollars is absurd as well as immoral If you're...

Easy Money For All! - NameCheap Coupon

@Aspiring Billionaire sorry for sounding so bitter... I like the way you think, I just wish it was that easy (and I wish I hadn't lost time and money with a similar mindset)

Sounds really, really great in theory, and yes, you could probably sell enough of the domains to at least break even, or profit. It's easy to buy shitty domains for literal pennies, and also pretty easy to sell them for slightly more literal pennies. But like you said, most great domains are...

    strategy Logo Design Opinion?

Nice! I actually like where the first one is headed. The rabbit is recognizable to me, and I can appreciate that the rabbit icon was designed to match the style of the font. It would also stack well to create a vertical logo. That being said, I think the icon and font are just feeling a bit...

    strategy Logo Design Opinion?

Nothing wrong with a basic logo as long as it's well done. The problem with these logos isn't that they're basic, it's that they need a lot of refinement. "Basic" is actually the best way to differentiate yourself from the majority of 5 minute wordpress sites. I generally (always) avoid using...

    strategy Logo Design Opinion?

I'd avoid Lobster as much as possible, that font was way too popular for about six months in 2011, and is now a symbol of amateur design. Sorry to be harsh! Don't use Lobster! There are many better fonts that can accomplish the same thing.

Is domaining becoming a "Nigerian" Scam?

I personally ignored his post in this thread because the last thing I want to do is get into an argument over whether or not someone's mother is really dying. Could it be true? Yeah, of course. Does any of what he's saying add up? No, not at all. Is it his internet being cut off? Is it caring...

True. SEO.xyz is still available to hand-reg. That should tell you something about the .xyz extension. There have been some big sales in it, but it's just not stable enough, even for "quality names"

Easy Money For All! - NameCheap Coupon

Speaking from experience! I've been trying to get more into the gambling niche, and I picked up five or six good gambling-niche names in the .bid extension that were part of NameCheap's sale thinking "Why the hell not, I'll buy them for a dollar, sell them for $5, it's just too easy" People...
