    Sounds about right to me... ;-) The bottom line is they aren't that easy to acquire there are easier ways to build better links IMHO.

    I establish the keywords Create content or use pre-existing content. Make a link building plan based on competitors etc (normally a few / several months worth) Follow the plan

    As many as I feel the need too, mostly from relevant sources that will hopefully bring in relevant traffic. You can build as many as you like provided that you vary the anchor text. Have got business via traffic from some of my links.
