alert The fund can't be withdrawal from Epik.com via Masterbucks wallet

To clarify, I'm in no way shape or form stating to just "let it go". When I refer to "move on", I'm referring to severing ties with Epik and refusing to bring them additional business. Based on what I've read in this thread alone, I would urge folks in the US to contact their state's Attorney...

sales Privately Report Completed Domain Name Sales Here

Sold gilbertair.com for $800. This was by far my most profitable flip ever; bought the domain via GD expired domain auction and found a local HVAC company in the Gilbert, AZ area. Two phone calls later and I sold the domain for $800 and a website (in the works still) for another $2k. Happy I...

information Explosive claim about .xyz and “Swetha”

Well, I'm happy I'm not the only one that thought the so-called value of these gtld's was completely bonkers. Seeing the numbers for .xyz sales and the lack of any consumer-facing credible brand leveraging this extension yet just didn't make sense.

Are LLLL DOT NET AND LLLL DOT ORG worth it now?

Unless you're developing the name out, it likely isn't worth the premium registry price in most cases (at least for .net).

news WordPress Introduces “100-Year Plan” Including Domain Registrations

From a business standpoint, this screams RISK. Any business that offers plans as ridiculous as this is likely experiencing a liquidity constraint and the state of their business is likely in question. From an accounting standpoint, my CPA would murder me for the simple fact that recognizing...

sales Privately Report Completed Domain Name Sales Here

@FastidiousCat - Absolutely! I'll be the first to jump on a sales call and close a deal :D In my experience as not only a small business owner but also having had done consulting for so many years, your average small business simply lacks the time, energy, and attention span to deal with these...

news A Second Look At GoDaddy/Afternic Search

Your solution is exceptionally well put together and would help solve the immediate downfalls I see in the routing of traffic when arriving at godaddy.com after being redirected. As a former GoDaddy employee, I can say with some certainty that the product manager/exec who made that call made...

Best registrar to move 500 domains to?

I've personally moved a majority of my domains to Dynadot and have been very happy thus far. The fact they have great support and allow for hardware security tokens, I'm a happy camper. My ONLY complaint is the pesky nightly updates they perform.

    alert Dynadot Outage

The outage is already over, this thread is starting to get off-topic. For what it's worth, one communication mistake is forgivable compared to the nonsense some other registrars put us through.

    alert Dynadot Outage

Just a heads up, it looks like Dynadot is experiencing an outage on their website. Their forums appear to be hosted elsewhere as they are still accessible at https://www.dynadot.com/community which also allows for access to their support team. Hopefully the outage will be over soon. P.S. -...

showcase LLM Domains - Showcase Thread

Thank you for posting this! This is actually why I still own LLM.INFO! Of all the luck, this dang .info I've held onto for years may finally get some use... just in a way I never imagined :xf.grin:

news A Second Look At GoDaddy/Afternic Search

One can only hope, right? I find it sad to see how tech M&A has evolved over the past five years. While I'm no longer at GD, at least when I was, a massive portion of the tech was undergoing significant overhauls and, in some cases, being replaced altogether. Don't let the crappy UI/UX fool...

    sales NewYork.com Sold For 7 Figures - DNJournal.com

The amount that some of these geo domains are going for is just insane! Peter has been at this a very long time and has owned some pretty cool names over the years. Definitely check out his LinkedIn if you ever get bored.

domains Brent Oxley – Premium Domain Name Portfolio

Brent is one of the most stand up guys I've ever met. Back in the prime HG days, he was such a humble guy and really did a lot to take care of employees. It's no surprise he has such an amazing portfolio of names, after 20ish years in the hosting space, he has had plenty of time to pick up some...

    registrars GoDaddy denied registration

For what it’s worth, you can dispute that with your credit card company as they violates ALL of their processing agreements (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, hell even Diners Club); if the originally desired service or product is not available, returning funds to the original source must be made...

legal OpenAi Files UDRP On ChatGPT.com

HAHAHA! I'm just waiting for the AI Terminator service to be released

legal OpenAi Files UDRP On ChatGPT.com

I absolutely agree with you on this; the fact that the domain was only registered as of November of last year and the trademark was filled without a dispute against their first use in commerce date, should be an easy ruling.

poll I am at 27,000 now, how many domains in your "keeper" portfolio?

That's really impressive! As someone that previously worked at GoDaddy, I can confirm you are in the top 1% of domainers at GD. You focus on quality is very similar to my strategy; I focus on brandability as well as liquid domains for safe investments (3L, 4L, 5L in rare cases) as well as top...

question Will my newly registered .com have year added if I transfer to another registrar?

Welcome to domaining! Just remember that no question is a stupid question! Anytime a domain is transferred, a year will automatically be added. Just keep in mind, you do need to wait until the 60 day lock is removed from your newly registered domain. I hope this helps!
