In this case the buyer received the domain into his account successfully and the escrow was closed, but a number of days later lost access to the NetSol account that was holding the domain. I spoke with the buyer this afternoon and confirmed that he is in touch with Network Solutions to resolve...
Hi Heavend,
The short answer is - extremely safe.
If the buyer did try to move the domain to privacy to avoid "receiving" the domain we're able to use our contacts at the registrar to find out the status of the push.
If it's an extremely small or remote registrar that we don't have contact...
@Keith Thanks for the tag, it looks like the transaction support team is already working on validating the transfer with the registrar using the docs you provided. I'll keep an eye on this as it gets sorted out.

@4pm thanks for the tag.
I just had a chance to talk to @blast , TLDR we continue to hold his funds awaiting his confirmation to release them.
The email Blast received was a pending release notice. We use these to follow up on a transaction where the Seller has shown us that they have pushed...
If a Buyer intends on reselling a domain then having that information publicly available might not always be in their interests. For instance Escrow.com will only publicly confirm the purchase price of a domain if both the buyer and seller consent to us doing so.
I certainly hope that DN.com's unavailability is not going to result in anyone losing their funds or domains. The importance of using a licensed, bonded, regulated and audited escrow company that regularly has its books checked cannot be overstated.

Hi Everyone,
As @Haris mentioned above we were able to get to a resolution together and get funds disbursed.
Transactions on Escrow.com are always confidential by default so I cannot discuss transaction or party specifics, but one point I would like to comment on in a general sense is that a...
Hi Chickenfillet,
Glad we could sort out the login issue for you. I've just scheduled a meeting with our phone provider to see if we can get some lines added for local calls in Australia and Europe. I'll update this thread when I've got their response.

General Manager, Escrow.com
Everyone beat me to this one. Thank you!
Escrow.com protects transactions completely. In the event of a buyer charge back the original transaction is not reversed and Escrow.com will fight the charge back on your behalf.
Merry Christmas!
Jackson
All payments to a seller made through Escrow.com are safe from chargebacks and will not be reversed, even if the buyer tries to claim that they never received the domain (they have 6 months to do that with PayPal and most credit card companies).
Hi Jideofor,
There's always a huge amount of effort involved in bringing two companies together. So far the investment from Freelancer has allowed us to step up our customer support coverage, increase the speed we deliver new features and offer new transaction types. With the exception of...
Thanks for the explanation, Rob.
If you are not registered as an Escrow Agent in any of the US states (including your home state of Washington where this is a requirement) how can you describe Epik as an escrow service? and how can customers know that you are not using the funds in their Epik...
@MasterOfMyDomains thanks for the tag. We coordinate and provide info directly to law enforcement for a dispute like this rather than posting transaction info on forums. Our customers' transaction details are never released publicly without all parties' consent.
Escrow.com makes sure that you...
@creataweb thanks for the tag! It looks like our Support team already beat me to contacting the buyer and funds are on the way.
Concierge is great way to speed things up, especially if you're working with an inexperienced buyer. If all else fails Escrow.com will get in touch with the registrar...
Hi John,
Escrow.com takes the confidentiality of customer data extremely seriously and will not release another customer's data based on accusations but does comply with requests from law enforcement.
Our Chinese language support team is in touch with the buyer and assisting, by no means...
